Art and design have always played a major role in my life. As a child in North Dakota, I continually searched for blank surfaces to embellish. When, at age seven, my family packed up and headed for Wisconsin, moving boxes became my canvasses.

My creative passion eventually lead me to study art at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After graduating in 1997, I worked at a stained-glass studio, where I designed and constructed custom stained-glass (including Tiffany-style lamps), while also managing and marketing the studio’s consignment art gallery.

I then spent two years working in the marketing department for an art museum. I wrote press releases, developed membership drives, designed newsletters, and created promotional pieces, such as posters, postcards, and brochures. I also represented the museum at city meetings and did regular promotional TV spots.

In my home studio, I now create custom artwork ranging from drawings and sculptures to graphics on downhill skis and collages in shadow boxes. I also work on a computer to create a variety of printed materials. I enjoy using my creativity and expanding my knowledge. I work hard to provide consistently good results. It is rewarding to work with clients in order to meet their artistic needs, whether they want a painting for their home or a brochure for their business.
